mbccc.net Child Care Forum

The forum was originally created by a committee member of a child care centre and therefore had connections to it. Actually provided as a service and a contribution to it.

That business no longer exists. No business of that name exists at this time.

There is no longer any connection.

It never really worked, anyway. They didn't want anything to do with it and never used it. Virtually no one used it. You can see that at this time - look at the number of members and the number of postings....

After quite a long time it was hived off from that now defunct organisation and the mbccc.net home page was devoted to marion bride's 'computer conscious community' - a 'portal' of links to a random selection of worthy web sites covered by a sketchy philosophical overlook of the web and the world today.

The words in a sticky posted in the Welcome Intro referring to that original child care place have been left there in the interests of leaving that whole sticky intact and untouched - leaving the history of this site and this forum clear, simple and easily seen.

But we can see, as I say, there's currently no connection beyond the historical one - there's no such establishment and mbccc.net refers to something else.



But the Forum continues and will continue.

There is no reason to kill the forum, used or not used it remains a place where people can discuss or publish without discussion their own ideas, theories, opinions on the question of child care.

And the author sees a great need for that.
